Teaching

Below is a list of selected courses I have taught previously. If you would like tutoring in any courses not listed, please contact me directly!

Trigonometry and Geometry

Trigonometry and Geometry are some of the oldest and most useful fields of mathematics. These skills are used by students who continue in vocational or post-secondary education.

Pre-Calculus and Algebra

These courses serve as the foundation to success in college mathematics. Fundamental skills in algebra and an understanding of functions (trigonometric, logarithmic, exponential, polynomial etc) are used regularly in calculus, statistics, and beyond.

Calculus

Single and multivariable calculus. Topics include differentiation, integration, sequences, series, and applications. This material is typically broken into three classes Calculus I-III.

Differential Equations

This coures is focused on the solving of differential equations; equations involving a function and its derivatives. Topics can include: linear ODEs, integrating factor, Laplace transforms, and Taylor polynomial approximations.

Linear Algebra

All things linear transformations and matrix algebra. This course is fundamental to applied mathematics, physics, econometrics, and computer science. Topics can include: null and column space of a linear transformation, decompositions of matrices, linear approximation, applications, and computations in python or matlab.

Statistics

Foundations of statistical and causal inference. This material is used by all scientists and clinicians in from sociology to econometrics. Topics include properties of random variables and distributions, standardized statistics, analysis of paired data, and various statistical models.
